Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Congress on Sunday demanded the resignation of the BJD leader and Kendrapada MP Anubhav Mohanty.
Briefing the media, Congress leader Tara Prasad Bahinipati said that while Chief Minister and BJD president Naveen Patnaik talks about respect to the mothers, his party MP tortures his wife, which is grossly unfortunate. “Is this the team of Naveen Babu?” he questioned.
He said that the Chief Minister must take immediate step and ask the Kendrapada MP to resign from his post failing which the Congress will be forced to take to the streets.
Reacting to the demand of the Congress, BJD leader Arabinda Dhali said no one should comment on this issue as it is a family matter of Anubhav and he will find a way to resolve it.
He further said that his party supremo never tolerates injustice.
