Odisha COVID-19 Tally Nears 30K; 194 New Cases From Khurda, 112 From Sundargarh

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha touched 29175 on Wednesday with an overnight addition of 1068 new cases from 28 districts.

Among them, 662 have been detected in quarantine while 406 are local contact cases.

Ganjam reported the highest 245 new cases followed by Khurda (194), Sundargarh (112), Gajapati (88), Koraput (66) and Cuttack (61).

With this, the number of active cases in the state has gone up to 10920. While 18060 persons have recovered from the disease so far, the virus has claimed 154 lives in the state.
