Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has received dividends to the tune of Rs 205 crore from the state’s four public sector undertakings (PSUs).
Odisha Agro Industries Corporation (OAIC0 and Odisha Cashew Development Corporation (OCDC), under the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment, along with Odisha Hydro Power Corporation (OHPC) and Odisha Power Generation Corporation (OPGC), under the Energy Department, presented their dividend cheques to Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
The state government received Rs 111.82 crore as dividend from OPGC for 2023-24 financial year. Similarly, the government got Rs 92.21 crore as dividend from OHPC for the same financial year, an official statement said.
Likewise, OAIC has paid dividend worth Rs 1.35 crore to the state government for 2022-23 financial year, while OCDC paid Rs 46.51 lakh as dividend for the same year.
These four state-owned corporations paid the dividends through cheques, the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said.
