New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: Suvendu Kumar Swain, who hails from Odisha, has been appointed as Member (Personnel) of the Postal Services Board.
Swain, a 1990-batch officer of the Indian Postal Service, was serving as Chief Postmaster General (CPMG) of the Chhattisgarh Circle before his elevation.

He succeeded Manju Kumar, who retired on October 31, according to official sources.
Swain previously held the position of CPMG, Odisha Circle.
Apart from his administrative acumen, Swain is also known for his versatility and contributions to the Odia film industry.
