Odisha: OPSC Issues Advisory Against ‘Illegal Gratification’ For Selection In Recruitment Tests
Cuttack: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has issued an advisory to aspiring candidates against selection through illegal gratification.
In an official notice, the OPSC advised the candidates applying for different posts not to be influenced by ‘unscrupulous elements’ who are trying to extract money from them by promising to ensure success in selection process. The Commission said a robust, transparent and merit-based system is in place for recruitment process.
“Some unscrupulous elements are trying to win confidence of gullible candidates, assuring their selection with illegal gratification. The candidates are advised not to be influenced by such elements,” the notice said.
The Commission has also asked the candidates to report about such persons to the authorities for necessary action. The aspirants can report such incidents over phone numbers 06712301107/2304090 or email their reports to opsc@nic.in.
Meanwhile, the OPSC has invited online applications for the appointment to 47 posts of Drugs Inspector (Group B) of the Odisha Drugs Control Service (Drugs Control Administration) under Health & Family Welfare Department. The link for online application will be made available in the OPSC website from September 15.
