Bhubaneswar: Odisha students have performed admirably in JEE Main 2025 exam, Round 2.
Bhubaneswar resident Om Prakash Behera, who had moved to Rajasthan’s Kota for his preparations, was one of 24 candidates to score 300/300 as per the results announced by National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday.
Some of the leading schools in Odisha have lived up to their reputation and expectations.
SAI International School’s Ayushman Dibyasingh Behera and Suvram Jyoti Behera both secured 99.92 percentile, clinching the School Topper titles. Biswajit Barik secured 99.83 percentile, followed by Baibhaba Moharana (99.81) and Dibyanshu Sekhar Sahu (99.77).
As many as 16 students scored 99 percentile or more, 10 achieved 98 percentile and 6 students 97 percentile.
Ayushman felt it was a ‘surreal’ moment for him. “The relentless mentorship at SAI and my family’s support turned this dream into reality. I’m thrilled to contribute to India’s scientific future as an aspiring engineer.”
SAIoneer Suvram felt more motivated than ever before. “This result is the outcome of consistent effort, the structured guidance I received at SAI, and the constant encouragement from my teachers and family. It feels incredible to see my hard work pay off, and I’m motivated now more than ever to pursue my dream of becoming an engineer, looking forward to competing in the JEE Advanced soon,” he said.
OAVs performance
Among Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas (OAVs), Omprasad Sahoo topped with 99.277 percentile.
A total of 28 students across OAVs in the state achieved 95-plus percentile. As many as 130 qualified students qualified for JEE Advanced, according to a School & Mass Education Department post on X.
7 girls among 12 from KISS make JEE Advanced
Twelve students from Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) cracked JEE Mains, thereby qualifying for JEE Advanced.
Seven of the 12 successful students are girls. Three of these students are from Jharkhand, who pursued their education at KISS in Bhubaneswar.
KIIT & KISS founder Dr Achyuta Samanta congratulated the successful students and said that KISS students have been consistently performing well in various competitive exams at regional, national, and international levels.
