Kochi: Police have arrested an Odisha native for murdering her husband and dumping his body on the railway tracks in the city.
Police identified the deceased as a 31-year-old man from Odisha, but did not disclose his name. They also didn’t reveal the name of the accused woman.

Police said the man was killed by his wife at their rented house at Edappally. She allegedly dumped his body on the tracks in an attempt to make it appear as an accident.
The accused allegedly murdered her husband for attempting to harass her child from her first marriage. Police, however, said the exact motive is yet to be established.
According to the FIR, the body was spotted on the railway tracks near Edappally railway station around 1.20 am on Saturday.
