Odisha’s Daughter-In-Law Elected Andhra Pradesh Lawmaker
Bhubaneswar: The people of Andhra Pradesh have elected a daughter-in-law of Odisha as their lawmaker.
Reddy Shanthi was elected from the Pathapatnam Assembly constituency in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Srikakulam district on a YSR Congress party ticket.
YSR leader Jagan Mohan Reddy is set to form the government in the state after his party romped home to power with a thumping majority, dethroning Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP party from power.
The 45-year old is the wife of Reddy Nagabhusan Rao, an IFS officer of Berhampur.
