Bhubaneswar: Another BJD legislator has tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha.
Jagatsinghpur MLA Prasanta Muduli informed that he went for the test after developing some symptoms and the result was positive.
The MLA is currently under home isolation and his condition is stable. He has urged people, who had come in contact with him recently, to undergo COVID-19 test.
Earlier in the day, Nabarangpur MP Ramesh Chandra Majhi had informed about having contracted the virus.

The other infected BJD leaders are Textiles, Handlooms and Handicrafts Minister Padmini Dian, Higher Education and Agriculture Minister Arun Sahu, Rural Development Minister Susanta Singh, Bhadrak MP Manjulata Mandal, Basudevpur BJD MLA Bishnubrata Routray, Bhubaneswar (Central) MLA Ananta Narayan Jena, former minister Debi Prasad Mishra, Khandapada MLA Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, Polasara MLA Srikant Sahu, Remuna MLA Sudhansu Sekhar Parida, Salepur MLA Prasant Behera and Bhadrak MLA Sanjib Mallick.
Suresh Pujari, who represents Bargarh Lok Sabha constituency, is the other Parliamentarian from the state to have contracted the virus, besides BJP Nilagiri MLA Sukanta Nayak.
