Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange warning for Khurda district in Odisha till 7.40 pm on Friday.
Moderate thunderstorm/lightning along with moderate rain and wind speed reaching 40 kmph may affect some parts of districts of the district, including Bhubaneswar, in 3 hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
