Bargarh: With campaigning in Bijepur constituency scheduled to end on Saturday afternoon, political parties on Friday went all out to woo the voters.
The BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who is on two-day visit to Bijepur, resumed his campaign on the second day with road shows in several areas of Gaisilet block. He will return to Bhubaneswar this afternoon.
Besides, senior BJP leaders Dharmendra Pradhan and Pratap Sarangi also campaigned for party candidate Sanat Gadtia in several areas of Barpalli and Bijepur blocks.
However, the Congress seemed least enthusiastic. Though senior party leaders, including Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Niranjan Patnaik, Narasingha Mishra and Suresh Routray are in Bijepur, party candidate Dilip Panda was seen campaigning with a handful of his supporters.
