Brahma Mihir Mohanty, a person of India origin, is going to contest in the forthcoming general elections in the United Kingdom. The 2019 United Kingdom General election will be held on December 12. He will be contesting the elections as a Labour Party candidate.
The news has spread happiness among Non-Resident Odias (NROs) and also those living in Odisha. Brahma is the brother-in-law of Rajya Sabha MP Ranjib Biswal.
