Bhubaneswar: Rain coupled with thunder and lightning is likely to lash several parts of Khordha district, including Bhubaneswar, on Saturday afternoon, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning.
In a message issued at 1 pm, the IMD sounded a yellow warning. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning may occur in a few places of Khordha district, including Bhubaneswar city, for the next one to two hours, it said.

People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening condition and plan accordingly for their safety.
