Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) here on Friday issued a nowcast warning for 11 districts of Odisha till 6.20 pm.
Light to moderate rain with thunderstorms and lightning is likely in some parts of Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Balasore, Bhadrak, Keonjhar, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Angul, Boudh, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati And Nayagarh during the next three hours.
People have been advised to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
