Bhubaneswar: Senior IAS officer Sanjay Singh has been appointed as Secretary, Information and Public Relations.
Along with his new assignment, Singh will remain in additional charge of commissioner-cum-secretary, Skill Development & Technical Education Department, and the CMD of Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO).
The 1997-batch IAS officer will take charge from the CMD of Gridco and OPTCL and commissioner-cum-secretary, Energy, Hemant Sharma.
While the appointment of Singh was approved by the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday, a notification to this effect would be issued by the General Administration Department on Friday.
