SBI Main Branch In Puri Sealed After Staffers Test COVID-19 Positive; Affected Tally Rises to 1126

Puri: The State Bank of India (SBI), Puri main branch, has been sealed for an indefinite period after two employees of the bank tested positive for COVID-19.

While contact tracing is on, some employees have been asked to undergo quarantine.

Meanwhile, the COVID-19 tally in Puri touched 1,126 on Friday with an overnight addition of 67 cases.

The highest of 326 cases have been reported from Puri Municipality followed by 146 from Brahmagiti and 97 from Kanas.

With four deaths and 693 recoveries, Puri now has 427 active cases.
