Bhubaneswar: Senior Odisha cadre IAS officer Vir Vikram Yadav, who is currently serving as Secretary in the Works department, will proceed on central deputation.
The 1996-batch officer has been posted as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC).
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved his appointment.
Yadav has served Odisha with distinction, leaving an indelible mark on the state’s infrastructure development as Works Secretary.
He had earlier held the post of Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), where he spearheaded the Parikrama Prakalp yojana project that transformed the temple’s surroundings. He had also served as Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Secretary.
