Cuttack: The Shri Jagannath Temple Administration on Thursday informed the Orissa High Court that it would open the Jagmohan and allow the entry of the devotees only after receiving a no objection certificate (NOC) from the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).
“Let the ASI gives the NOC about completion of repair work of Jagmohan. After receiving the NOC from the ASI, the temple administration would open the Jagmohan after the Rath Yatra,” said the SJTA in its affidavit.
The court, in response to another plea of the SJTA seeking permission to know about the condition of the Ratna Bhandara, directed the ASI to examine the condition of the Ratna Bhandara on March 26 and 27.
The court later fixed the next date of hearing of this matter on March 29.
