Bhubaneswar: The faculties of engineering and technology, law and business management of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University (SOA) of Bhubaneswar have won the Times Now Business Excellence Award (East) for 2025 after being chosen as the top institutes in eastern India.
The three institutes are Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), SOA National Institute of Law (SNIL) and Institute of Business and Computer Studies (IBCS).
Besides, five departments of the Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital, faculty of medicine of SOA, have been chosen as the best in Odisha. The departments are Oncology, Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, Urology, Neurology and Nephrology.
The awards were presented at a hotel in Kolkata recently by Bollywood actor Nimrat Kaur in the presence of Bollywood actor Parambrata Chatterjee, filmmakers Nandita Roy and Siba Prasad Mukherjee, film director Raj Chakraborty and Assistant Vice President of Times Now Network Biman Dutta.
Ripti Ranjan Dash, SOA’s Director, Corporate Relations and Industry Engagement, received the awards.
ITER and SNIL were ranked 26th and 9th in the country earlier by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2024.
