Mumbai: Bollywood actress Sunny Leone has flown to the United States with her three children amid the COVID-19 lockdown.

On reaching Los Angeles, the actress took to social media platform Instagram to share a happy picture of herself along with her kids Nisha, Noah and Asher while sitting in their secret garden.

Speaking about her decision to fly to the US amid the crisis, she wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers out there. In life when you have children your own priorities and wellbeing takes the back seat. Both @dirrty99 and I had the opportunity to take our children where we felt they would be safer against this invisible killer ‘coronavirus’ Our home away from home and secret garden in Los Angeles. I know this is what my mother would have wanted me to do. Miss you mom. Happy Mother’s Day!”

Sunny’s husband Daniel Weber also shared a picture taken outdoors and wrote, “Quarantine Part 2. Not so bad now!!! Getting better with the new vibes !!!”

During her stay in Mumbai, Sunny was taking care of her children with the help of her husband and a nanny.

We do the same things every single day. Nisha has her school work (online school due to the lockdown) and they paint and do craft. We also engage in different physical activities like Zumba and exercise with them.”

Before flying to the US, Sunny Leone had shared a glimpse of her workout session in Mumbai. She had captioned it, “Weighted workout shirt 10kgs of extra weight while I’m running and pushing a stroller. Lol lockdown life!”

Canada-born Sunny Leone became an American citizen in June 2006 and holds a dual citizen of Canada and America both.

On April 14, 2012, Leone announced that she was now a resident of India. In an interview with The New Indian Express, the actress stated that she was eligible for overseas citizenship of India because her parents lived in India.
