‘Super Spreader’ In Odisha’s Keonjhar Infects 13, COVID-19 Tally Rises To 383

Keonjhar: A total of 28 new coronavirus positive cases have been detected in Odisha’s Keonjhar district in the last 24 hours, taking the affected tally to 383 on Friday.

Among them, 14 are local contacts and the other 11 have been reported from quarantine centres while three are corona warriors.

Thirteen of the total local cases are from Barbil Municipality and they are the contacts of an earlier positive case. The other local contact case has been detected in Keonjhar municipality, the district administration tweeted.

The other 11 positive cases have been reported from Temporary Medical Centres (TMC) at Telkoi, Banspal, Saharpada, and Hatadihi.

With 271 recoveries, the Keonjhar district has 112 active cases.
