Odisha Boils, Temperature Crosses 42 Degrees At 16 Places; Bhubaneswar Records 40.8
Bhubaneswar: The day temperature continued it upward march in the state with the mercury soaring past 43 degree Celsius in 8 districts on Monday.
According to the evening bulletin of the India Meteorological Department, as many as 27 districts recorded temperature above 40 degree Celsius on the day with Balangir being the hottest at 44 degrees. It was followed by Titlagarh at 43.8 and Angul 43.7 degree Celsius.
Bhubaneswar too recorded 40.8 degree Celsius, nearly 3 degrees less than Sunday when it had recorded 43.3 degrees.
