Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning for 11 districts of Odisha, including Cuttack city, till 2 pm on Sunday.
Light to moderate thunderstorm/lightning with gusty wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph and light to moderate rain may occur in some parts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Nuapada, Jagatsinghpur, Bargarh, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Bhadrak, Balasore, Puri and Cuttack (including Cuttack city) in three hours.

People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
