Jeypore: A tractor rammed into a house at Patrapur village under Sadar police limits in Koraput district on Wednesday. Though one one was injured in the incident, the house was damaged under the impact of the collision.
The mishap took place when RTO officials, who intercepted the vehicle for some violation, were taking it to a nearby transport office.
Locals later staged a road blockade demanding compensation for the elderly woman, who was residing in the house. They lifted the blockade after police personnel reached the spot and assured the agitators that their demand will be looked into.
