Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey turned Robinhood almost overnight. Minutes after he announced his voluntary retirement from service on Tuesday, a music video has gone viral on social media showing him in Robinhood avatar, reported India Today.

The music video has a song that calls DGP Pandey ‘Robinhood Bihar Ke’ and ‘yaaron ke yaar’. It was released on YouTube. The singer calls DGP Gupteshwar Pandey a tiger and hails him as Robin Hood, India Today report.

In the video, singer Deepak Thakur of Bigg Boss-fame, is seen riding on the bonnet of an SUV showering praise on Gupteshwar Pandey. The video shows DGP Pandey from various angles while he is busy at work as police officer.

The singer calls Gupteshwar Pandey a police officer who made thieves shiver in his career. The video claims the thieves would pray to gods hearing his name.

Gupteshwar Pandey was in the news recently over his remarks on Rhea Chakraborty in connection with the probe into actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.
