Mumbai: Having gone through a difficult time when his son was arrested and put behind bars for nearly a month in the drugs-on-cruise case last October, Shah Rukh Khan is getting back to his energetic best.
The Bollywood badshah took to Instagram on Wednesday to introduce his much-awaited film ‘Pathaan’ with a video teaser.
After co-stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone talk about the leading character, a man is seen approaching from distance without his face being seen clearly. The voice is a giveaway as Shah Rukh talks about how the character gets a name and says, “Iske liye thoda sa intezaar kijiye. Jaldi milte hain, Pathaan se (just wait a little, to meet soon with Pathaan).”

Along with the teaser video, Shah Rukh wrote: “I know it’s late… But remember the date… Pathaan time starts now… See you in cinemas on 25th January, 2023. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Celebrate #Pathaan with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you.”
Overjoyed fans welcomed SRK’s post and Pathaan’s release.
“RETURN OF THE KING!” wrote actor Ranveer Singh along with a crown emoji.
Shah Rukh’s last released film was Zero in 2018.
Shah Rukh had to postpone shoot of Pathaan in Spain when his son was arrested.
The Yash Films production will be directed by ‘War’ director Siddharth Anand.
