When Salman Khan Borrowed Rs 2011 From His Childhood Friend & Never Repaid Him!
Mumbai: It’s known to all that Bollywood actor Salman Khan is one of the richest celebrities in Tinselville and also does a lot of charity work.
However, not many are aware that the actor had once borrowed Rs 2011 from his friend Iqbal and has still not repaid him.
On the popular comedy show, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, the actor said that he used to borrow money from his friend to fill petrol in his vehicle.
Salman went on to say that he will be repaying his friend by launching the latter’s son Zaheer Iqbal in Bollywood.
“Pranutan (Bahl), Zaheer (Iqbal) and Sooraj (Pancholi) is here. Mohnish Bahl is childhood friend of mine and he has worked with me as well. Now, I have got the opportunity to launch his daughter. Zaheer’s father is also childhood friend of mine. Once he gave me 2011 rupees as a loan then, it increased up to 11000 rupees so, I had to repay that loan to him with interest at some point or the other so, I felt it’s the right time to do that,” Salman was quoted as saying by IANS.
Salman is launching Pranutan Bahl (Monish Bahl’s daughter) and Zaheer Iqbal (Iqbal’s son) under his home production in a film titled ‘Notebook’.
