Bhubaneswar: Newly appointed Chief Administrator of SJTA Pradipta Mohapatra said he would coordinate closely with servitors and Temple employees for the smooth conduct of the ensuing Rath Jatra.
“I will discharge my duty to the best of my ability”, Mohapatra told newspersons about his new assignment.
Mohapatra recalled that he has earlier served in the same capacity apart from being RDC and taking over as collector of Puri on the eve of the Rath Jatra in 1998.
He said he will be in a position to speak about more details once he took charge.
Presently Principal Secretary, School and Mass education, Mohapatra was given additional charge as SJTA administrator in a late evening development on Monday.
The 1988 batch IAS officer replaces Pradip Jena who was SJTA administrator for more than two years.
