Mumbai: Ahead of the trailer launch of Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’ on November 18, a source close to the project revealed that the film will be releasing in two parts.
“There have been reports that Dhurandhar is a two-part saga. Hence, the film, which will be released on December 5, will be the first instalment. It’ll end at a decisive point and the story will then continue in the second part,” a source was quoted as saying by Bollywood Hungama.
“It is said that director Aditya Dhar has shot extensively and the film has shaped up really well. But since it’s very lengthy, they have toyed with the idea of breaking it into 2 parts. If this is the plan, then Dhurandhar’s part 2 will arrive next year, preferably in the first half.”
Written and directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy action-thriller is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar under the banners Jio Studios and B62 Studios.
The film stars Ranveer, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan and Arjun Rampal, alongside Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi in supporting roles.
Nitesh Tiwari’s Ranbir Kapoor-starrer ‘Ramayana’ will be releasing in two parts — the first one on Diwali 2026 and the second part is scheduled to release on Diwali 2027.
