Khurda: A youth died after lightning struck him in Khurda town on Tuesday afternoon.
According to an eyewitness, the youth was going on a bike on National Highway 16 when he was struck by a lightning near the office of the Khurda collector. The intensity of the lightning was so severe that his stomach got completely burnt.

On being informed, the Town Police rushed to the spot. The police identified the deceased as Ramakrushna Dash, a sales executive of a private company in the Mancheswar Industrial Estate in Bhubaneswar.
