Since he appeared for the pre-board exams with other students in a classroom, all those present and their parents have been asked by school authorities to undergo isolation. Their swab samples will be collected for the COVID-19 test, sources said.

Similarly, the three hostel boarders were tested after they developed COVID-19 symptoms. They have been asked to vacate the hostel.
