SUM Hospital Ranked 3rd In East India & Top Medical Centre In Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar: Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital, faculty of medical sciences of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University (SOA), has been ranked third in India’s eastern region in the Times All India Multispeciality Hospitals Ranking Survey.
The survey, published on Friday, has placed IMS and SUM Hospital as No. 1 multispeciality hospital in Bhubaneswar, and behind Kolkata’s Apollo Gleneagles Hospital and Fortis Hospital in eastern region.
In the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2021 list, IMS and SUM Hospital was ranked 21st in India.
Times All India survey included multispeciality hospitals with three or more critical care speciality departments. Rankings were based on desk research, factual data collection and perceptual survey.
The 1600-bed NABH-accredited hospital with state-of-the-art medical care services, IMS and SUM is Odisha’s only hospital to set up five standalone COVID hospitals with over 2200 beds.
A medical college, IMS and SUM Hospital admits 250 MBBS students every year and also offers post-graduate course in all broad specialities besides MCH and DM progamme in superspeciality departments.
