Mumbai: After attacking Virat Kohli on social media platforms for liking Avneet Kaur’s pictures, singer Rahul Vaidya got blocked by the cricketer on Instagram.
Post his fight with Kohli, the singer is reportedly losing all brand deals, according to ABP News.
However, Rahul rubbished the reports, saying that he is not a social media influencer to lose brand deals.
“Absolute nonsense! Mai koi influencer thodi hun jo brands chale jayenge! (I’m not an influencer to lose brands.) I wonder if all the people who are reporting this are smoking what??!” Rahul told India Forums.
Earlier, after getting blocked by Kohli, Rahul had shared, “So guys, Virat Kohli has blocked me, as you all know. I think that too is an Instagram glitch. Instagram k algorithm ne bola hoga Virat Kohli ko ki, ‘Ek kaam kar, main tere behalf pe Rahul Vaidya ko block kardeti hoon’. Hain na?”
While Virat maintained a dignified silence on the matter, his brother Vikas Kohli slammed Rahul.
“Bache itni mehnat agar apni singing pai karle to shayad apni mehnat se famous ho jaae… (had you put in so much effort in singing, you would’ve been successful by now.) While the whole nation is focused on the current situation of whats going on… this idiot is on a mission to gain followers and become famous taking Virat’s name… WHAT A LOSER,” he wrote.
