Dhenkanal: The static surveillance squad seized cash worth Rs 4 lakh from the vehicle of a BJP candidate in Dhenkanal district on Thursday.
As informed by the Dhenkanal SP, Anupama James, the cash was seized from the car of Ashok Nayak, the BJP candidate of Hindol assembly constituency near Mangalpur.
The BJP candidate is being interrogated at the Town Police Station about the sources of money, the SP added.
