Angul, Gajapati Report Second COVID-19 Death; Toll Rises To 83
Bhubaneswar: Coronavirus has claimed four more lives in Odisha in the last 24 hours, taking the toll to 83 on Friday.
Two of the four victims are of Ganjam district.
The details of the deceased:
- A 66-year old Male of Angul district. He was also suffering from Neuroendocrine Tumor.
- A 57-year old Male of Ganjam district. He was also suffering from diabetes.
- A 56-year old Male of Gajapati district. He was also suffering from diabetes and heart disease.
- A 60-year old Male of Ganjam district. He was also suffering from chronic kidney disease.
They succumbed while undergoing treatment, the Health Department sources said.
With this, the virus had claimed 50 lives in Ganjam, 13 in Khurda, eight in Cuttack, two each in Angul, Gajapati and Puri and one each in Sundargarh, Bargarh, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada and Rayagada.
