Kuchinda: Vigilance sleuths on Friday raided residences and offices of an assistant engineer in Kuchinda NAC, Upendra Nayak, for allegedly amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Simultaneous raids were conducted by separate teams of the anti-corruption unit from Sambalpur, Rourkela, Deogarh and Balangir at his chamber in Kuchinda NAC office, a house at Ghosa here and another building and in-laws’ house in Kuchinda area..
On December 19, similar raids were carried out against assistant executive engineer of Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) Durga Madhav Mishra in a disproportionate asset case.
