‘Arrested Odia Actor Took Money To Buy Vehicle, Gold From Live-In Partner Promising Marriage’

Bhubaneswar:  The arrested Odia television actor Milan Moharana, who goes by the screen name Suman Kumar, had allegedly taken gold, a motorcycle, a car and cash from the woman, whom he promised to marry and later regened on his words.

He was arrested by Pahala police on Sunday.

Apart from other gifts, the woman on Monday alleged that Suman took money from her to purchase a vehicle during their relationship of more than two years. “I had digitally transferred Rs 2 lakh and gave another Rs 2 lakh in cash to him for buying a vehicle,” she said.

The woman claimed that they were in a live-in relationship for over two years and stayed in an apartment in Bhubaneswar. “He had promised to marry me and my family was busy making all arrangements to solemnize the wedding in the next two months. But all of a sudden he refused to tie the knot,” she said

She further alleged that Suman also cheated on her by having affairs with other women.
