Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will on Friday attend a video-conferencing with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the strategy to contain coroavirus, official sources said on Thursday.
All the Chief Ministers are expected to take part in the video-conferencing, which is scheduled at 4 pm, sources informed.
At the video-conferencing, the PM will brief the CMs about India’s preparedness to battle COVID-19 virus, which has created an unprecdebted scary situation all over the world. Modi is likely to advise the states to remain in high alert.
On Thursday evening, Modi asked the people of India to observe ‘Janata (public) curfew’ on Sunday and emphasised the need for resolve and restraint to fight the deadly virus.
