Bhubaneswar: After a day’s gap, daily COVID cases in Odisha increased to above 200 on Tuesday with 231 infections being registered in the last 24 hours against 179 cases on Monday. The state had reported 221 cases on Saturday.
According to the I & PR department, 136 new cases are from quarantine and 95 local contacts. Among them, 37 are in the age group of 0-18 years.

The active tally in the state continued to remain below the 2,000 mark at 1,578.
