Bhubaneswar: Odisha recorded 401 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, the highest in recent days. Among them, 44 are in the 0-18 age group.
According to the I&PR Department, 236 cases are from quarantine and 165 cases from local contacts. The number of active cases as of Wednesday is 1,957.

Besides, 46 cases are from the state pool.
With 15,097 samples tested in the last 24 hours, the TPR stood at 2.65%.
With cases rising, after Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, the Ganjam district administration has made wearing of masks compulsory in public places. Though the situation is under control, Ganjam district Collector Dibya Jyoti Parida on Tuesday issued SOP to deal with cases in the district.
