Mumbai: Even as movie buffs are eagerly looking forward to the sequel of ‘No Entry’, reports suggest that Diljit Dosanjh has walked out of the project due to differences.
According to a report in Filmfare, Diljit had creativity-related differences with the filmmakers.
“Diljit was very excited to collaborate with Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor. But over the last few weeks, he couldn’t align with the film’s creative ideas. That’s why he’s decided to leave the project because of creative differences,” a source was quoted as saying by Filmfare.
Director Aneez Bazmee he won’t be able to speak about the matter right now.
Producer Boney Kapoor clarified that there were some date issues with Diljit, which will be sorted out soon.
“Yes, there are date issues, but certainly no creative differences. That is absolutely false. We are trying our best to work the dates out,” Boney told HT.
An official announcement regarding the final star cast of ‘No Entry 2’ is still awaited.
Sharing a series of photos from Greece on his Instagram handle in February, Bazmee wrote, “Plotting new adventures in Greece with the producer Boney Kapoor ji and DOP Manu Anand ji! Prepping for the madness that’s #NoEntry2.”
While talking about the sequel, Boney had said, “It (shooting) will begin soon, probably sooner than expected. We’ve decided on the release date also, it would be October 26, 2025 – Diwali release. The shooting will probably start in June or July. Hopefully, we catch up with the target because again will have a lot of post-production.”
