Bhubaneswar: Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati visited the Atri hot spring in Khordha district on Sunday.
Kambhampati said he didn’t know that beside Taptani, there is a second hot spring at Atri. “Today I am visiting Atri, the hot spring spot. Two months ago, I visited Taptapani along with the President of India. At that time, I was aware that there is only one hot spring in Odisha. Later, I came to know that there is another one in Atri,” he told the media during the visit.

Located about 40 km from Bhubaneswar, the Atri hot spring is a natural sulphur-rich thermal spring. The sulphur-infused water is widely believed to help cure skin diseases and joint pain. The site features a main reservoir and public bathing tanks managed by authorities.
