Bhubaneswar: A 53-year-old COVID-19 patient of Khurda district succumbed to HIV-AIDS, the Health Department sources informed on Wednesday.
Odisha saw another six deaths due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, which took to toll to 48. The victims belong to Ganjam, Khurda, Rayagada and Kendrapada districts.

As many as 13 COVID patients have died due to other health complications in the state till date.

Meanwhile, the COVID-19 tally in Odisha has surged to 10624 with 527 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
