Bhubaneswar: The Supreme Court Collegium on Thursday recommended the elevation of Justice Sangam Kumar Sahoo, a Judge of the Orissa High Court, as the Chief Justice of the Patna High Court.
Sources said the SC Collegium has recommended the appointment of five senior Judges of different HCs as Chief Justices of various High Courts.
These appointments are consequent upon the retirement or transfer of incumbent Chief Justices in the respective High Courts.
