Cuttack: After questioning the role of human rights activists in his ongoing legal cases with wife Varsha Priyadarshini, actor and Kendrapara MP Anubhav Mohanty posted a series of tweets accusing them of betraying his trust.

Anubhav also tweeted that lies are being spread against him at the ‘behest of someone’ on social media.
In one of his posts, he has mentioned that Chairperson of the International Human Rights Foundation, Gitashree Das, who had visited the couple on Thursday to broker peace between them, was a close associate of his wife.

In response to these tweets, Varsha posted a message on her unverified Twitter handle.

Anubhav was quick to respond to it.

While the MP has filed a divorce petition in a Delhi court, Varsha has accused him of domestic violence and being a habitual drinker, besides having multiple affairs.
The acrimony between the couple has grabbed media headlines and spilt over to social media. Varsha, who continues to stay at her in-laws’ place at Nandi Sahi in Cuttack, has reiterated time and again that she wants to save her marriage.
