In a case that has sent shockwaves across India, Raghuvanshi’s wife Sonam is accused of getting him killed during their honeymoon, with the help of her lover Raj Kushwaha and three others.
Raja and Sonam, who got married in Indore on May 11, arrived in Meghalaya on May 21. They were reported missing from Sohra (Cherrapunji) on May 23.

She confessed to the murder during interrogation, and named Raj and the three accused as co-conspirators. Indore Police then arrested all five.
Raja & Sonam’s last video
A video showing Raja and Sonam trekking through a forest trail has surfaced on social media and gone viral.
The video was purportedly recorded hours before Raja was allegedly murdered.
It was inadvertently captured by YouTuber Devender Singh, who was visiting the same place — popular Double Decker Root Bridge in Cherrapunji’s Nongriat village on May 23.
Devender shared the clip recently after reviewing his footage, describing it as the “last known video” of the Raghuvanshi couple.
