Cuttack: An unidentified miscreant allegedly looted a bicycle from a minor girl after slashing her throat in Tangi-Choudwar block of Cuttack district on Tuesday.
The victim was identified as Deepika Tarai, a Class III student of DAV School at Mania here.

According to information, Deepika was pedaling back home from school, 3 km away from her house, when the unknown person intercepted her and slashed her throat with a sharp-edged weapon before fleeing with the bicycle.
Some locals spotted the injured girl and rushed her to a nearby hospital.
