Multiple Attempts To Kill Me After #MeToo Movement, Claims Tanushree Dutta
Mumbai: Multiple attempts were made to kill Tanushree Dutta after she went public with her experience of sexual harassment, the actress revealed.
Tanushree became the face of the #MeToo movement in India four years ago after she alleged that Nana Patekar misbehaved with her during the shooting of a film song in 2008.
In a recent interview, Tanushree claimed that the brakes of her car were tampered with a couple of times in Ujjain.
“I met with an accident and it was a very bad accident. I was just short of breaking some bones. It set me back for a couple of months, and it took me time to heal from those injuries as there was a lot of blood loss,” she told Connect FM Canada.
Tanushree said someone tried to poison her too.
“There was a maid, who was planted in my house and I just progressively fell sick. Now it is my suspicion that there was something being mixed in my water,” Tanushree said.
The actress, who was quite vocal about her ordeal after opening up for the first time, said earlier that if anything were to happen to her, Nana Patekar, his legal team and ‘Bollywood Mafia friends’ would be responsible. Patekar denied the allegations.
