Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has allowed Joint Secretary, Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC), Swati Mishra to join as Registrar of Utkal University, Bhubaneswar.
The OAS officer will replace Pinaki Pattnaik.
“The services of Dr. Swati Mishra, OAS (SAG), Joint Secretary, OSSC, Bhubaneswar, are hereby placed at the disposal of the Utkal University, Bhubaneswar for her joining as Registrar, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. Order on her appointment has been issued by the Governor’s Secretariat, vide their Notification No.6655/SG(HE) dated 09.06.2025,” the June 13 notification issued by the General Administration department said.
Pattnaik, also an OAS officer, was appointed as registrar of the varsity on February 27. His appointment has been cancelled and he will continue to serve as Additional Secretary to Government, SD & TE Department-cum-OSD to the Chairman, Odisha Skill Development Authority, Bhubaneswar, it added.
