Bhubaneswar: On Thursday, the day of student elections in Odisha, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said campus polls embody the core principles of democracy and shape future leadership.
In a post on his personal X handle, the CM first greeted “my dear students and friends” on the occasion. He then wrote: “The student parliament election is not merely a process of selecting representatives; rather, it is a key medium for embodying the core principles of democracy and shaping future leadership. The values, discipline, and ideals that you practice on campus today will provide a new direction for our state and country in the days ahead.
“Therefore, without falling prey to any form of violence, rumors, or division, participate in this election in a peaceful and orderly manner.
My heartfelt best wishes to all students, student representatives, and candidates.”
